After a disaster separates her from her younger sister Powder, she is imprisoned and left to carry the blame for a tragedy she could not prevent. When she returns, Piltover and Zaun are closer to open conflict than ever.
Her story is driven by the need to reach Powder, now living as Jinx, without denying the harm that has followed them both. Vi's strength makes her useful to Caitlyn's investigation, yet it cannot solve the emotional distance between the sisters. The series keeps asking whether loyalty can survive after trust has been broken.
Hailee Steinfeld gives Vi a direct, guarded voice that opens into grief when her family is involved. The performance makes her physical confidence feel like a defence rather than a complete answer. Fans respond to a character whose love remains constant even when reconciliation may be impossible.
