Sebulba does not race to compete; he races to survive and dominate. He views the other pilots not as peers, but as obstacles to be destroyed, relying on illegal flamethrowers and a massive, terrifyingly fast podracer.
He is the perfect, straightforward antagonist for a young Anakin Skywalker. Sebulba represents the harsh, cutthroat reality of life on Tatooine, where rules are nonexistent and victory belongs only to the most ruthless.
Despite his brief screen time, Sebulba’s distinct design and iconic, thrumming podracer left a massive impact on the Star Wars prequel era, cementing him as one of the galaxy’s most memorable minor villains.
