The dossier
The sell-out skater
Lucas Lee is a hilarious caricature of Hollywood ego. He speaks exclusively in gravelly action-movie clichés, pausing only to adjust his leather jacket or demand a fresh coffee from his terrified assistants.
Chris Evans delivers an incredibly funny, scene-stealing performance. He completely leans into the character’s aggressive vanity, making Lucas one of the most memorable and entertaining hurdles in Scott Pilgrim’s quest.
His ultimate defeat—tricked into attempting a completely impossible skateboard grind simply because his ego couldn’t handle a challenge—is a perfect, deeply satisfying end for the franchise’s biggest narcissist.
