Jeffrey Combs delivers an iconic, incredibly intense performance. He plays West with absolutely zero comedic winking, treating the deeply absurd, hyper-violent events of the film with a terrifying, clinical seriousness.

He is one of the greatest anti-heroes in horror history. West is a brilliant deconstruction of the classic "mad scientist," proving that absolute arrogance is far more dangerous than any monster.
